$215.44 saved in Hawaii!

I found a dime!

I found a penny!

I forgot my flip flops, and instead of buying the $20 pair at the resort gift shop, I went to the local corner

store and bought a $5 pair. That’s another $15 saved.

We decided to not get a night cap on Tuesday. That’s another $23.

And most importantly – poolside, I drank Michelob Ultra’s purchased at the grocery store instead of resort

beers.
That saved me $177.33.

So I transferred $215.44 to my brokerage account today.

A drop in the bucket compared to the total costs of the trip, but when you take on the identity of a

Financial Zen Master, it’s impossible to turn it off. Even on vacation.Bye, Hawaii!! See you soon! (She

gave us an hour long sunset on our last night!)
