“Eat that frog!” is an expression of Brian Tracy, a veteran of the self-development community.
What he means is you need to do the most important thing first to make sure life doesn’t push it aside.
Have you ever had a task that you know would have a massive impact that you just never get to?
Your kids need something.
Your boss needs something.
Your spouse needs something.
And before you know it that thing never gets done.
So eating the frog means you do that thing first and the let life fill in the rest of your time, not they other
way around.
Being a good parent to your money is incredibly important. It’s second only to being a good parent to your kids.
But as Stephen Covey says, it’s the “Important, Not Urgent” quadrant of your life.
Financial Zen Live! will give you the opportunity to “just show up” and be a great parent to your money.
So we’ll do them on Monday evenings to make sure you eat the frog before the rest of your week gets in
your way.
If you’re a Financial Zen Member, then look out for an email shorty titled “LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS for
Financial Zen Live!”.
It will have the Zoom link for you and then we’ll see you at 8pm sharp!
And if you’re not a FZ Member, you can still play along at home. Take 25 minutes tonight to deliberately
focus on your money – where it’s coming from, where it’s going, how much you’ve got. Then go learn
something about money and create a strategy around it.
