Celebrating 13 Years As A Financial Planner!

I retired on August 25, 2008.To be clear, I had NOT achieved financial freedom 13 years ago. I’d be dead

broke for a whole lotta years after that.

I retired because my passion was now my “job”.

And that flipped the script on what “work” meant to me.

It was no longer corporate deadlines and the Sunday Blues.

“Work” was unrestrained and uncontrollable enthusiasm for personal finance and improving people’s

lives.

It’s been a grind for 13 years (and I’ll never stop grinding), but it’s all been worth it because of the lives

I’ve touched.

From standing in Cathy’s driveway 13 years ago on that bright Saturday afternoon hearing for the first

time “It’s SOO good to finally have someone to take care of us“…

to the forwarded text message I got last week from Beatriz from one of the friends she referred us:

“Girl, I need to buy you dinner sometime soon. We just had our second session and it made me feel so

freaking relieved. Thank you so much for connecting us with FZSeriously took down my anxiety like a

thousand levels.”

My eyes start to water thinking about these bookends and all the others in between.

I’m a lucky man to have found my passion so early in life and then been given the opportunity to use it

to impact so many lives.

So thanks for letting me help all of you along the way.

You should know that you’ve touched my life just as much as I’ve hopefully touched yours.
