Don’t Get An ‘A’ In A Pass/Fail Course

If I get a 90% in a pass/fail course, I pass the course, but I fail the assignment.

It’s hard not to overachieve when you’re wired that way.

But the deeper we get and the higher we climb, the more important it is to prioritize WHAT we overachieve.

Do I overachieve by changing my own oil?

Do I overachieve by finishing that not-so-great business book?

Do I overachieve by NOT Googling the answers for my continuing education credit quizzes?

Yes, I would overachieve. But to what end?

How many more productive, impactful things could I have done with my time?

Sometimes the best answer is “good enough.”

I try to turn it off and get a solid D- when the course is pass/fail.

Easier said than done…
