It All Happens Right On Time

We all have a million things to do. And most of them won’t get done until the deadline approaches.

But what if you never set a deadline?

If it’s important enough, the Universe will set your deadline for you.

It’s usually disruptive short-term, but positive and additive long-term.

That happened to me this week.

I received some bittersweet Financial Zen-related news (which I’ll share at a later date).

It will force me to take action on something big that’s been sitting on my list for over 18 months.

(While I was doing my 2023 planning I noticed that it’s been on my list since 2021!)

It’s something that will accelerate Financial Zen’s mission, but it comes with disruption and requires a skill set I don’t have… yet.

The way I see it, the Universe got sick of waiting for me.

It was like “Bro, THIS is what you need to do right now, so I’m no longer leaving it optional.”

And so my hand’s been forced.

I’ve seen this movie before, like the promotion that I didn’t get which would have delayed my financial planning career.

Whether it’s getting laid off from a job you hated or the girlfriend you couldn’t stand breaking up with you, sometimes when the Universe can’t just wait anymore it’s gonna shove you out of the nest.
