If I hate working out, I’m probably not in shape.
If I hate sales, I’m probably not a good salesperson.
If I hate money, I probably don’t have an abundance of it.
I’m not going to be good at something I hate.
That said, I also don’t have to LOVE doing something to be good at it.
For example, I don’t HATE writing content, but I definitely don’t LOVE it either.
It’s not a matter of moving the needle from “hate” to “love”. It’s moving it from “hate” to “not hate”.
Thankfully, moving to “not hating money” is really easy.
But first, we have to uncover what people mean when they say they hate money.
They don’t hate money. They’re just uncomfortable with it. They don’t feel like they know what they’re doing which makes it scary.
The solution is really simple. Just learn about money and personal finance for 10 minutes a week.
There’s no shortage of personal finance content these days.
Search on YouTube or your favorite Social Media and follow people that speak to you (Hopefully one of those sources is Financial Zen!)
After a month or two, you’ll start to feel like you have a better grip on things and then the hate needle will over towards “not hate” almost imperceptibly.
And then one day you may even wake up to find your money needle hovering over “love”.
