Besides burgers and cornhole and the unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day is about expressing gratitude to those souls (much braver than me) who fought and died for our country.
There is no other country in the world with more opportunity than America and we owe that to those who fought to protect it.
Without a doubt, I’ll enjoy some beer and hot dogs today, but Memorial Day is also an inspiration to maximize my potential in honor of those who died for it.
