“So what’s going on with Financial Zen, bro?” my buddy asked.
“Oh man, we’re about to level up big time. I’m bringing on our first full-time CFP who will take over 90% of my current day-to-day.”
“Well, I guess your golf game will improve!”
“What do you mean?” I responded.
“Well what else will you do with all that free time?”
As an entrepreneur that did not compute.
My “free time” will now be consumed with further improving our product, building the sales/marketing machine, and recruiting more team members.
When you’re an entrepreneur there is no finish line.
And that defines the entrepreneurial mindset.
It focuses on endlessly leveling up, always putting another puzzle piece into place.
And it isn’t limited to actual entrepreneurs.
Most of our Financial Zen Members are W2 employees who instinctively exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset.
They work on their side hustles.
They save relentlessly to achieve Financial Zen as quickly as possible.
They’re high achievers killing it in their current role while looking towards the next one.
There is no finish line.
So it’s no wonder the average “retirement age” for our Members is 50.
Even if you’re not wired that way, you CAN fake it until you make it.
When you cross a finish line, just ask “what else?”
With enough reps, those finish lines disappear.
