Grab a pen and paper.
Take out your phone and set a timer for 2 minutes.
For the next two minutes, write down anything that comes to mind when you ask yourself:
– What did I accomplish this week?
– What did I learn this week?
– What were the 3 best things to happen this week?
How’d that feel?
Did you accomplish more, learn more, and have more good things happen than you remembered?
I do this exercise every day and then review the daily entries at the end of each week.
I’m always blown away by how much more I did than I thought.
And THEN I look back at entries from 1, 3 & 5 years ago.
Talk about a “Holy smokes! Look how far I’ve come!” moment.
Like watching the lbs drop when you’re dieting, focusing on the progress you’ve already made will make the next 5 lbs that much easier.
Now go out and celebrate your wins this weekend! You’ve earned it!
