The tide shifted this week. It was subtle, but I could feel it.

This was the first week our team didn’t feel like just an extension of Rick, but like THE FINANCIAL ZEN TEAM.

Taylor (our Member Service Associate) busted her butt to completely redo one of our member’s Docusigns minutes before she left for vacation. She never ever drops the ball (despite my vaguest asks) and simply responds “You betcha!” with even the most demanding requests.

In training our newest team member, I realized just how much Claudine (our Financial Planning Assistant) has taken on since November. She picks up new skill sets at lightning speed. She’s completing tax projections and summarizing estate plans and tracking our members’ cashflow statements, all while doing 95% of our meeting prep and follow-up. I don’t know how we ever survived without her.

This week Sophie (our Summer Intern) analyzed and tracked every Discovery Call I’ve completely ever, overhauled our Discovery Call slide deck, and scripted out the email sequence we’ll use for our pre-Discovery Call.

And finally Pawan (our brand new Associate Financial Planner), very nonchalantly commented that he’ll complete the rest of his training this weekend. (I don’t ask or expect the team to ever work weekends.) He’s picked up our workflows like a sponge and he’s rolled with the punches as I develop our first training program.

It really hit home when I found out Pawan reached out directly to Claudine for help in getting up to speed on something I tasked him with.

If it wasn’t for our team, we would be at capacity right now. But because of them we now have room to grow which couldn’t be better timing.

We scheduled onboarding for our 78th and 79th new members this week and I’m looking at a stacked deck of Disco Calls over the next month.

Like they also say, if you wanna go fast, go alone. But if you wanna go FAR, go together.

Can’t wait to see just how far we can go together!
