“Is there anywhere you’re stuck?” my business coach asked me today.
“Well to be honest, I think I can see the finish line and I’m just totally unenthused.
Like I’m on the doorstep of everything I’ve been working for and yet I feel apathetic instead of excited. What is that?” I replied.
Without missing a beat, she said, “You’re afraid of success.
“Bringing on 40 new members a month is going to require a skills set you don’t have yet and you know that.
“So right now you’re facing the “known” that you’re leaving your comfort zone and the “unknown” of what it will actually look like.
“The only thing you can do is keep putting one foot in front of the other and not look too far ahead.
“Trust in yourself that you’ll know what to do when the time comes just like all the times you have before.”
