Introducing Financial Zen Cash F.L.O.

Retiring in 9 years may seem like an impossibly complicated and difficult goal.

But if you can keep just three things top of mind, it will all come together.

Those three things are F. L. and O.

The Backstory

Hawaii gave me a lot of time to reflect.

It was a “working vacation,” but I blocked off my schedule from appointments which meant I got a lot of

time for brainstorming, strategizing and goal setting.

I started on my first book.

I strategized one how to improve our Membership Program for delivering even bigger results for our

members.

And I made huge progress on a webinar I’ve been working on: “How To Retire In 9 Years Without Giving

Up Vacations Or Dinners Out.”

The foundation for all 3 of those required a very concerted effort at organizing my thoughts.

What are the most important principles I teach?

What are the commonalities in those who are closest to financial zen?

How can I communicate those thoughts in a tangible, memorable way?

Introducing Financial Zen Cash F.L.O.

And after 11 days of mediating on it, it finally came to me as I watched the sea of clouds out the plane

window on our way home. Focus Leverage Optimization

Everything I’ve learned – and now teach – fall under these three principles.

Focus – time & energy spent on your money and your future Leverage – how to put in “1” and get “2”

back Optimization – plugging the holes in your “leaky boat”

These 3 things will get you retired in 9 years no matter where you’re starting from, and I’ll dive deeper

into each of these this week.

Tomorrow I’ll explain how Steph Curry choosing NOT to play in the Olympics is a great example of the

first principle – FOCUS.
