It’s not you. It’s just not a winnable game.

The chances of you being the best in the world at ______ are slim to none.

There will always be someone who ________ better than you.

What’s the point of being the best at ______?

And then reframe the game, so you’ll win when you achieve ______.

I’m not discouraging you from trying to be the best. By all means, there’s fewer joys in life than daring greatly.

But don’t measure your fulfillment against other because there will always be someone further ahead than you. Instead measure your fulfillment against whether you achieved your goals or not.
