It’s not the final chop that felled the tree…

…marketing starts to work.

Getting inbound leads from our marketing is a strange feeling since I’ve been outbound my entire career.

Not only that, but we’re attracting the people we’re TRYING to attract.

Our most recent Discovery Call was from someone who found us through Google and “saw our rave reviews”.

This person works in tech and wrote “First time working with a financial planner and looking for the best to help maximize returns and retire early”.

That is literally the avatar we have for our ideal member.

That’s just one example among many that found us over the last 6 months.

And it all happened without a single cold call (just hours and hours of publishing content).

I’ve always hated marketing because it’s a “wait and see” type of delayed gratification.

Even if you have to wait to close a deal, with sales you know if it was a good call or if you heard buy signals or you nailed the meeting.

So screaming into the marketing void for the last 3 years has been frustrating, to say the least.

I’ve been operating on blind faith that I was putting in the work and it would pay off in the end.

And it finally has.

It’s just another reminder that even though the final chop is the one that fell the tree, without the 99 chops that came before, it’d still be standing.
