More Than a Third of 250k Earners Live Paycheck-to-Paycheck

One of our Financial Zen Members forwarded this article to me last week.

Thanks for the inspiration, Evan!

The TLDR is:

If you make more than $250,000 a year, you’re in the top 5% of income earners in America.

HOWEVER, 36% of people who make that much live paycheck-to-paycheck!

And millennials are even worse. 55% of millennials making $250k are not saving a single penny.

Eeek!

If that’s you, at least you’re not alone.

If that’s NOT you, then it should be comforting.

Stats like this help fuel our Financial Zen mission.

We’re obsessed with helping you take full advantage of the opportunities you’ve created for yourself.

The average savings rates of our Financial Zen Members (as of 3/31/2022) is:

– 24% for households with kids

– 26% for households without kids

That said, most people don’t start out at those levels. We help them get there incrementally over time.

I know we do good work, but there’s clearly still a lot of people to help and work left to do!
