Aside from the obvious holiday gifts, buy everything you’ll need for the next 12 months!
This was an entrepreneurial hack I read when I was starting Financial Zen 7 years ago.
“Buy all of your office equipment once a year on Black Friday,” they recommended.
That year I managed to pick up a home office fax/printer/copy that normally runs $700 for $250.
And ever since then I look out over the next 12 months and buy anything I know I’ll need during the sales over the next week.
That said, I’m also disciplined about only buying things that actually need replacing. If I can squeeze another year from my computer I will.
