Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn said that starting a business is like “Jumping off a cliff and
building the plane on your way down.”
If your dream is to turn your hobby/passion/obsession into something that makes money, then you’ve
gotta jump off the cliff.
Even if that just means recording yourself creating your first course about photography/real estate/guitar.
We’re not talking about actually selling it or even publishing it.
We’re talking about figuring out if your “thing” has legs and it might be something you would to put the
work in to to create a business (and therefore money) from.
And if your interest-level is high enough to create a course, then it’s probably high enough to create a
business.
