With limited resources, the price is the dollars spent.
With adequate resources, the price is the dollars AND hours spent.
It’s a hard transition to make and I struggle with it constantly.
I manage my own books instead of hiring a bookkeeper.
I distribute my own content instead of hiring a content manager.
I take the Muni instead of an Uber.
I save money on all of those things, but if I calculate the time I spent I end up losing money.
Building a business as a bootstrapped entrepreneur has taught me how to be financially responsible, but maybe just a little too much.

So where are you only looking at the dollars spent and ignoring the hours?
Just look for places in your life where you’re taking the hard way to save a buck.
That’s usually where they’re hiding.
