I wanted to get swole. So I ran and I ran and I ran.
Every day I’d sweat it out on the treadmill, but my muscles just would not grow.
Sweat ≠ Progress
It doesn’t matter how much time, money, and energy I spend.
If I’m spending them on the wrong thing, I’m just running enthusiastically in the wrong direction.
At best, I’ll tread water. At worst, I’ll move further away from my goal.
If I want to get swole, I have to lift weights, not run.
If I want to get rich, I have to spend money on leverage, not pinch pennies.
If I want to start a business, I have to create something people want, not design a logo or create an LLC.
All work is not equal.
Only working on the right thing for the right goal will create actual equity from my sweat equity.
