It had been over ten years since I owned one.
The last one I had was the 3rd generation. (Remember the one that was like a curved brick?)
So I figured it was time to give it another shot.
After all, I try mushrooms once a decade just to make sure I still don’t like them, so shouldn’t I do the same with my phone?
Last week, I hopped off the “green text” train and bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max.
I was excited to try it. I went in much more open-minded than that bite of mushrooms every 10 years.
Inside of 48 hours, I started to have my doubts. Within 72 hours, I was looking up AT&T’s return policy. It’s 2 weeks.
So I decided I’d give it an earnest try for 13 days.
I lasted 6.
Yesterday I exchanged it for a Pixel 6 Pro. (At least, my wife and my friends got to enjoy my blue texts for a week.)
My point has nothing to do with Android vs. iPhone. You do you.
The point is that I TRIED IT!
In an effort to be a better human, I regularly try both new things, as well as things I’ve written off in the past.
It’s not just mushrooms and iPhones. I test everything from self-development to diets to workouts to time management to business meetings to marketing to relationships.
Some stick. Most don’t.
But I sleep better at night knowing instead of wondering.
So whatever YOUR mushrooms and iPhones are – give it another try.
And while you’re at it – that thing you read about last week to improve your life? Try that one too.
Oh and the Financial Zen Foundations Program? You know the 6 month program people use to get their financial house in order?
Give that a shot too.
If it doesn’t stick, I’ll give you your money back.
But if it DOES stick…well…it could just change your life. (No, seriously.)
To give it a shot, just schedule a Discovery Call.
