And don’t forget a tax CREDIT is much more valuable than a tax deduction.
A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar tax REduction.
For example, if you owe $60,000 in taxes, that $1200 tax credit for a qualifying weatherization is $1200 you WON’T owe in taxes.
(A tax deduction just reduces your taxable income which is a bit of a 🥱 compared to a tax credit.)
