Now the backstory: 

It was almost a year ago exactly that I sent out a similar FZ Daily.

Chantal had just left. I was employee-less for the first time in 5 years.  And I was in a slight panic.

But after some initial interviews, I realized I didn’t really know what role I was hiring for.

So I took down the job posting and deliberately did everything myself for the next 9 months. It was brutal, but necessary in order dial in our service model and figure out exactly what roles I needed to fill.

Finally in October, I felt like I had a firm handle on “how we do things”, which clarified what roles we needed to fill.

First came, our Member Service Associate (new) Taylor, to help with our back office support.

Then came, Claudine, our Financial Planning Assistant. She’s been critical in helping me prepare for and follow up from our monthly AIMs. 

And next up is an Associate Financial Planner who will help me actually run the meetings. He/She will be in charge of helping our members manage action items and will eventually take over the day-to-day relationship management.

This will free up my time to further evolve our servicing offering, build out our team and level up everything we do for our little Financial Zen Community.

2024 should prove to be a pivotal year for Financial Zen!
