What’s your time worth?

As I write this, our new cleaning lady is vacuuming our apartment.

She’s been here for two hours and probably has an hour left.

At $55/hour plus tip that’s $200.

That’s $200 I could save by cleaning myself.

But Financial Zen makes about $550/hr.

So instead of cleaning myself, I hired Menel to do it for me so I can work.

I would rather spend $200 to make $1650 than save $200.

And I bet you would too.

You don’t need a financial planner to do that math!

(BTW it’s the same math you use to hire someone to “clean your money,” so you can spend more time earning.)
