Who are your gurus?

You apply leverage when you learn from others.

They spent hundreds of hours to learn and research and write.

And then they distill it down into the key takeaways you need.

The one hour you spend reading that book / watching that video / taking that course is worth at least a dozen hours if you were to trial and error your way through it yourself.

Some people provide higher leverage than others.

For instance, whenever I listen/read/watch Naval Ravikant, I learn something worthwhile 95% of the time.

Compare that to Tim Ferriss who gives me a ‘learn rate” closer to 60%.

It’s not dissimilar to your favorite artist. You know there’s a high probability you’re gonna like their new album.

Here’s my current list of 95%-ers and where I find them. (Ranked in likely order of applicability to you.)

Naval Ravikant (Twitter/Podcast) – I feel smarter every time I listen to him
Alex Hormozi (YouTube) – $85M/year “small” business investor
Seth Godin (Podcast/Blog) – Marketing genius / thought leader
Steven Pressfield (Books) – Author of The Legend of Bagger Vance and The War of Art
Keith Cunningham (Books/YouTube) – The Road Less Stupid author
Gary Vaynerchuk (Everywhere) – I’m sure you already know Gary Vee.
Russell Brunson (Mastermind/Coaching) – The man responsible for Financial Zen 2.0
Michael Kitces (Blog/Podcast) – Financial planning thought leader
