Why do I write so much “non-financial” content?

I was asked recently why I write so much “lifestyle” content and not more technical, financial stuff…

…and just how much time do I spend on “finance” for our Financial Zen members?

When one person asks, it usually means 100 more have the same question, but kept silent.

So those questions deserve an answer.

In reverse order….

4% OF MY WEEK IS WRITINGI work from 5am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and from 9am to 2pm

on Sundays (with two hours off for workouts and eating).

Out of that 89 hour workweek3.5 hours is spent writing (30 minutes each morning).

96% of my time is “finance” and 4% is “content.”

SO WHY NOT 96% FINANCIAL CONENT?

The natural question then is if 96% of my time is spent on finance, why isn’t 96% of my content on

finance?

And the answer is because giving you more “Google knowledge” will not get you results.

Follow me on this…

Everyone in the world knows how to get six-pack abs – eat less calories than you burn

But if everyone knows it, why don’t we all have a washboard stomach?

Because the “how to” knowledge is WAAYY more difficult than the technical knowledge.

The mindset, dedication and determination required for six-pack abs is the hard part.

And THAT is the missing link in the financial planning industry.

Getting wealthy is easy – spend less than you make.

That is literally everything you need to know about finance.

So why aren’t you wealthy and financially free? Because you haven’t figured out how to apply that

simple formula.

And THAT is what I’m trying to give you.

That’s why I write so much “non-technical” content.

Financial planners writing about how a 401k match works are a dime a dozen. The world doesn’t need any

more of those.

But none of those guys are giving you the behavioral and mental changes you need to achieve wealth

and independence.

I want to help you get results, not just knowledge you can Google.
