In short: Hell Yes! (probably)
This is an actual email exchange I had last week after publishing the “Would you buy a $180,000 car?“.
(Mike is not his real name. He’s one of my rare friends that’s not a Financial Zen Member.)
Mike: I feel targeted.
[He was referencing: *COUGH COUGH* we mostly work with Big Tech employees (esp. sales) between the ages of 30-49 *COUGH*]
Me: Well, ya kinda are! In 10 years would you rather still be flying first class… or private!?!?
Mike: Wouldn’t you tell me in 10 years not to fly private?!
Me: Hell no, bro! The whole point is to make sure you CAN fly private in 10 years.
What he (and a lot of people) misunderstand is that working with us isn’t restrictive.
Just the opposite – we free you AND level you up beyond what you could do by yourself.
My job is to help you live your best life, make the most money and…yes…fly private if that’s important to you.
Frugality is not part of our lexicon.
Sure, we don’t WASTE money, but you work hard for what you earn and should spend it on the things that are important to you and “spark joy.”
And if your choices come down to flying private or retiring at 49, we’ll present you with your options and then you decide what you want to do.
We’re not here to limit and restrict.
We’re here to clarify and level you up.
So should you fly private once you can?
Most probably definitely maybe. That’ll be up to you.
