While he slept peacefully under the tree for 20 years, the markets get whipsawed everyday.
COVID happened and inflation happened and elections happened and wars happened, but he slept through it all.
And 20 years later, he woke to find that his portfolio grew 8 times over while he was sleeping.
Yours will too, but only if you can keep your hands off your portfolio. It’s like soap – the more you touch it, the less you have.
So during days like this when if feels like the sky is falling, the best thing you can do is go for a nap under a tree.
